My Spiral Set

Since my hair is shoulder length I like to use the yellow magnetic rollers and the all purpose metal clips. Depending on where I'm at in my regimen I might shampoo and deep condition or just do a co-wash (deep condition).

Tools You'll Need:

rattail comb
glycerin/water mix
magnetic rollers
salon all purpose clips
coconut oil
nairobi foam
bobby pins
CD's mimosa hair honey

1. Part hair into 4 sections and secure with non-metal hair band.

2. Spray my vegetable glycerin and water mix onto each section of hair, seal with coconut oil, then I use my Nairobi Wrapp it Shine Conditioning Foam, about 1 pump should do it.

3. I take my rattail comb; part across then I take about 1 inch section of hair, next I take the roller and wrap the end of the hair around the bottom of the roller and roll the hair all the way around in a twist-like motion; then clip at the roots( top part of roller).

4. I do this for each section, if you find that your hair dries to fast after applying the nairobi foam and glycerin mix, spray a little more moisture to it, do not add any more foam this will dry your hair and make your hair hard.

5. Sit under a hooded dryer until hair dries.

6. To style I separate the curls into two using a little Carol's Daughter mimosa hair honey or sometimes I'll just use coconut oil. Then I'll part 1 1/2 inch from the top of my left ear to the top of my right ear. Next I put some more hair honey on my edes and pin the remaining hair at the top of my head, creating a faux hump.

This style usually lasts about 4 to 5 days. Then I'll shampoo and deep condition and most likely do a braid out or bun to give my hair a rest from all that maniputlation.

Make-Up Products

I'm not really a big make-up kinda girl but I do like to look nice whenever I go out somewhere special or if I'm trying to look nice for myself. Here are the products I use...

Shishedo- Foundation Primer

Bare Escentials- Dark/Deep Starter Kit

Tarte- Combo Eye Couture Day to Night Eye Palette

Clinique- High Definition Lashes Brush, Then Comb Mascara

Sephora- Eyebrow Kit

Carols Daughter- Lip Butter

Mac Lipgloss- lustreglass (bateaux)

Loreal- Eyelid Primer

These items help me transtion from going to church; to going out to a fundraiser dinner with my husband. It creates a natural look and then it can transform into a sexy sensual look. Now these

items are a little pricey, I like to invest in products that are good quality and will last me a while.

And even if I don't create a full look on a day to day basis I can at least brush a little translucuent powder, some lipgloss and mascara and walk out the door. Especially with a 4 month old and a 2 year old.

These products can be found at Sephora, Macy's, and Walmart
